Structure of Neo
Neo User-Authorisation Layer
Users can enter a Neo subject in several ways:
- via Neo's in-built authorization mechanism which prompts the user for their
login
name and password. - via the University's centrally supported Blackboard system
Neo Administration Layer
Neo has a comprehensive student administration system that allows subject administrators to enroll users, create and assign user groups, perform maintenance and archiving tasks and manipulate look-and-feel themes for web pages.
Neo Sub-systems
There are seven sub-systems within Neo for creating online content:
- Quokka quiz engine,
- Forums (aka Forion),
- Live chat,
- Strata collaborative framework,
- CAMS (Content Authoring and Management System),
- Praze peer review system,
- Blogging.
